The Importance of Backups

Well a lot has happened since our last posting. Just minutes after we left our hero camper an apple fell from the tree he was under and landed on the laptop, right on the hard disk. Well we have now spent many days trying to recover the data on said hard drive. Our hero has decided to say blah and format the hard drive, whipping out his handy wd passport drive copies his my documents and mail off the hard drive and spends the next two days rebuilding windows. After the tedious rebuild, windows started having errors and now the hard drive will not even format. This folks does have a Moral to the story. If it was not for thumb drives and pocket sized external hard drives, our hero's data would be completely lost. You should always have a good backup at all times because you never know what may happen.
